Specific Prohibited Weapons

  • An explosive or an explosive weapon: means any explosive or poisonous gas such as a bomb, grenade, rocket, mine, bottles containing flammable liquids, or a sealed container with dry ice or other chemical used to cause an explosion.
  • Firearm silencer: Something designed, made or adapted to muffle the sound of a firearm.
  • Hoax device: Anything that looks like bomb, meant to cause reaction by police, the fire department, SWAT, or any other emergency service organization.
  • Brass knuckles: a set of rings fused together and made of something hard that makes the damage from a punch much worse than if the punch had come from a bare fist
  • Machine gun: any gun that can shoot more than two shots without reloading, with just one trigger pull.
  • Other prohibited weapons: short-barreled rifles or shotguns, switchblades, or any other item that has no common purpose other than to seriously injure or kill.
